INNOCENCE

A place I used to go as a child,

had something about it which was divine.

Never understood what it meant.

Somehow, it vanished all my feelings of lament.

Memories got hazy as the age went up,

But that very feeling never gave up.

To this day, this restless mind searches for that place.

But, my luck never catches its pace.

I had almost given up on my blind faith,

until I found it in another child’s face.
